Day 5, there are no words to describe what the last 5 days meant to me. It seemed so long ago that I was making my reservations with Gary from Carnival Cruise Line, meeting Marilyn who would be roommate and getting excited about this journey. It did feel like I was going to be on this ship for an eternity the minute I embarked. I tried to soak up every possible moment, thought and fun, journaling in my special notebook. However despite it all, it was the best 5 days ever! I was so sad to leave the ship but happy that I was finally making it back home to my little man. I was sad to say goodbye to my new friends but knew that this really was the beginning of something wonderful. The plane ride home seemed long but the cab ride seemed longer. Making it home to a sleeping boy was the best thing ever and even more so because I knew my new found inspiration would bring greatness to my little family.
A day doesn’t go by that I don’t think about the cruise and all I learned. I have fallen into a slump but finally have come up to breath and in doing so started a new business. Naturally Good Soaps is going to thrive this summer. I actually took a few days off from my office job so I can plan, develop and produce.
Indie Cruise 2013..oh yeah baby!! I am so there! Waiting to make my initial deposit, plan my wardrobe, save my money and convince some people to join along. W00T! Thanks for sharing, Melissa. Can’t wait to see you on board and on the islands — the MasterMind and networking (and drink-with-umbrella-sipping) will be fabulous!
Thanks Donna Maria, for your continuing love of helping Indies like myself. This cruise was a genius idea and I am glad to be a part of the 2013 Indie Cruise family.
